1. STATUS
Your employment is considered temporary. As a selected employee, your assignment may be terminated anytime without any prior notice so you will be paid according to the Employment Standard Act. You should notify our office in case if you have accepted an assignment and fail to report at the scheduled time else four hours would be deducted from your pay cheque.
2. TIME RECORD
The method of recording hours may vary for each assignment so it’s onus on you to opt for correct method and to get your time sheet signed from the supervisor on daily/weekly basis and submit at our agency office. Agency is not liable for payment if time card is not punched during stepping in and stepping out. You must report your supervisor 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
3. SALARY
You may collect your pay cheque on weekly/biweekly basis Monday or Friday from our office as per your convenience anytime from 9:00 AM to 4:00PM by presenting your SIN and atleast one photo ID. Any discrepancies would be investigated and dealt with by the following pay period.
4. CODE OF CONDUCT
We stick to zero tolerance policy in case of fight, horseplay, insubordination, theft, harassment and controlled substance. This include violation of dignity, respect, and use of abusive language for staff members.
5. HARASSMENT POLICY
In accordance with Ontario Human Rights Code, every person has the right to be free from harassment at the workplace by the reason of race, ancestry, birth place, complexion, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, marital status and physical disability. Also, every employee holds the right to be free from sexual abuse. Incidents related sexual harassments should be reported immediately to the supervisor and our agency office.
6. INJURIES
All workplace related injuries must be reported to the supervisor and our agency office immediately.
7. HEALTH AND SAFETY
Directors and Supervisors are responsible for the safety of the employees merely to ensure that staff is well trained in safe work practices to aware them of any potential safety hazards. Recruits must follow the established safe work practices and procedures at the work site as instructed by the supervisor. Contact our agency if you encounter any unsafe act or conditions or asked to perform any work on equipment irrespective of your qualification that have not been assigned by the agency which could prove unsafe for you or co-workers.
Its compulsory to wear CSA certified Safety Shoes on all industrial assignments except the internal policies at your assigned workplace. No associate is permitted to operate any machinery for which agency does not ask or where client site does not provide adequate training.
Agency reserves the right to cancel agreement if any employee is not performing to the Employment Agency Standards or the client’s satisfaction.
